Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Female Care Assistant – Home Care, your main focus is to support private clients in their own homes, offering personal care and practical support as needed.
The role involves preparing meals, assisting with household duties, shopping, and offering vital companionship to clients. Building rapport, making tea, and providing a friendly chat are essential tasks on every visit.
All visits are at least an hour long, giving you time to offer compassionate care without rushing. You will also support a range of needs, from light housekeeping to more complex personal care.
You will usually work independently, but with the peace of mind that management support is always available. Initial visits are always with a colleague as you build confidence.
