The Driver/Cleaner position for Europcar Van Rental offers a full-time opportunity in a supportive, customer-focused environment. Applicants are expected to have a valid, unendorsed code 8 driver’s licence (at least two years old), basic computer literacy, superb communication skills in English, and be fully bilingual. Daily Responsibilities and Job Routine
On a typical day, you’ll be cleaning the interiors and exteriors of rental vehicles to a high standard, refuelling, checking fluid levels, and monitoring vehicle documentation.
Quality control is a big part of the role. You’ll need to report any expired licences and address issues that don’t fit Europcar’s standards. Handling paperwork and check-ins will also be part of your shift.
Vehicle deliveries are crucial. As a Driver/Cleaner, you must safely transport vehicles to customers as per company protocol, ensuring you maintain courteous and professional interactions every time.
Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and surrounding workspaces is also key. Sometimes additional ad hoc tasks may arise as required by management.
Most importantly, you are expected to uphold the company’s reputation through ethical conduct and commitment to customer satisfaction.
