Everyday Responsibilities and What to Expect
As a Project Manager 2 in Technology Solutions (IMIT), your tasks are both dynamic and meaningful. You lead departmental projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Overseeing planning, tracking and execution, you facilitate successful outcomes while managing teams and stakeholders effectively.
You’ll create detailed project charters, set objectives, and even develop and monitor project budgets. Tracking progress using clear metrics and making strategic adjustments when necessary are fundamental responsibilities. Your ability to monitor risk and lead implementation is essential for project success.
The position includes supervising staff and managing hiring or disciplinary actions, fostering a supportive work environment. Financial oversight is a core element, with responsibility for resource allocation and adherence to budget targets throughout the project lifecycle.

Finally, you’ll report progress, address barriers promptly, and maintain regular communication across multidisciplinary teams. This level of responsibility is rewarded with a competitive salary, ranging from $106,026 to $152,413 for a full-time temporary contract until April 30, 2025.
