Day-to-day, a Cleaner ensures the cleanliness of all spaces, including offices, toilets, and kitchens. Responsibilities include emptying bins, dusting surfaces, and refilling supplies.
Additional duties include polishing wooden furniture, vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows and walls, as well as deep cleaning sanitation areas.
Kitchens also require regular cleaning. You will wash floors, clean dishes, and occasionally help with refreshments for office events.
Cleaners also play a part in safety, reporting building defects and hazards such as slippery floors or faulty lights to supervisors as needed.
Proactive communication with staff about any potential hazards during shifts forms part of this job, ensuring a safe work environment for all.
