Job Responsibilities & Requirements
This role is all about managing and optimising solar and battery energy storage assets as an independent contractor. The salary range is attractive at R48 000 to R50 000 per month.
You’ll monitor and analyse performance with advanced data and reporting tools. Using systems like AlsoEnergy and Power Factors ensures you always have a pulse on asset health.
Daily tasks include compiling performance reports, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring maximum system efficiency through regular analysis and diagnostics.
Preventive and corrective maintenance planning also falls under your remit, as does collaborating with engineering and finance teams on strategy and budgets.
The minimum requirements are three years’ experience in renewable asset management, solid data reporting abilities, and a strong command of SCADA/DAS platforms.
