The Psychologist/Psychological Associate role offers an annual salary ranging from $70,329 to $117,563 depending on your education. This is a permanent, full-time unionized position within a large educational institution. Candidates must have at least a master’s degree in applied psychology (focus on children and adolescents), current registration or eligibility with the College of Psychologists, and access to a car plus a valid driver’s licence. This job involves psychological assessment, intervention, and prevention services for students within a multi-site, dynamic school system. A key part of your day will be consulting with school staff, parents, and community agencies. Day-to-day, expect to conduct detailed assessments and provide recommendations to help students overcome challenges and succeed. You’ll need to travel between different school sites to provide equitable access to psychological services.
