Responsibilities and a Day in the Role
As a Digital to Print Specialist, you will turn digital designs into quality printed or laser-cut products across different media. Your main focus covers both digital and large-format printing as well as laser cutting, engraving, and etching.
Your daily activities include preparing print-ready artwork, troubleshooting design issues, and setting up files with bleeds, crop marks, and correct resolution. Collaboration with designers and production leads is key for perfect technical setup.
Printer and machine operation forms the core of your contribution—aligning media, calibrating devices, and conducting proofs. You’ll be expected to maintain machinery for optimal quality and safe environments.
This hands-on job is varied, combining design, technical oversight, and direct equipment usage throughout production. Accuracy, problem-solving, and multitasking skills will be put to good use every day.
Expect to interact with the creative and production teams frequently to deliver vibrant, visually accurate branding and exhibition material.
