Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Insights
As a Senior Shift Millwright, you’ll supervise maintenance teams and monitor industry safety standards while ensuring efficient, reliable plant operations at every stage.
Your tasks will centre on installing, maintaining, and repairing both mechanical and automated machinery, with a particular focus on the beverage sector’s bottling and production lines.
Daily involvement includes conducting preventive maintenance, addressing electrical and mechanical faults, and overseeing apprentices to uplift skills and knowledge in the team.
You’ll use your technical expertise with PLCs, pumps, boilers, UPS and solar systems, as well as food industry specific equipment like blowmoulders and pasteurisers.
Physical work is part of the role, so lifting, working at heights, and being present on the plant floor are expected. Safety and accuracy are always prioritised on-site.
