Daily Responsibilities
The Tax Technician will handle corporate, partnership, and trust income tax return preparation.
Expect to complete various Quebec and Ontario filings, VUT and UHT returns, and a range of federal and provincial forms like T2, T3, T5, and others.
Support compliance audits, help with regulatory reports (GST/HST, QST), and maintain a crucial calendar of all filing deadlines.
Reconciling tax accounts across all entities is essential in this dynamic role. Additional duties may arise as projects develop.
Expect to work closely with finance teams and interact directly with regulation and compliance issues regularly, which keeps the job stimulating.
